It was one of the best in a long line of 'Okay Mondays.' Nothing special happened, but I get the overflow from the main 'help' line when every line is busy there, and for the first 45 minutes today, my phone rang one after another, so I put in a few tickets for service in a row, but seriously: where the fuck was everybody?

The rest was all my regular shit - published my L.A. blog, finished my back east blog for Wednesday and fucked off.

Mondays...

 

Forum members might know shooter has suffered from a bulging disk for the last several weeks.
Can't sit.
Can't stand.
Can't lay down.
Hurts like hell.
Drugs weren't helping.

So this morning they wheeled him into surgery and a bit over an hour later bandaged a 3" incision over that (formerly) bulging fucking disk.

Home by noon.
No numb leg to drag around.
No pain! A tylenol and he has no hurt at all.
Shooter can sit, stand, laydown and sleep!

A glorious day indeed!

 

Yesterday was good! Sold some jewelry and work was eventful.

 

Got back from my Dr. appointment. labs and scans are all clear... NO MORE TREATMENTS!!!

 

Babies are a bit of a handful while momma recovers but so far things are going well, Celia will be 100% soon and for now she is staying in bed as much as possible while I keep the house. Soon I can get back to cooking actual meals for us but her family has been stepping in for now. Sleep is not as rare as people made it seem, I guess the girls know that I am already running on empty taking care of momma because they sleep at least 6 hours at night.

 

It was a busy day at work.

Phone calls were non stop as usual. Left work at 4 pm to head home to get ready from job interview. Interviewer that was calling is located in Canada.

Had a bit of a problem to start as the call went right to voice mail. Prior to the call I had phone number added to my contacts and made sure iPhone was set to not silence unknown calls. In my opinion the reason call went to voice mail was because telemarketer call right beforehand.

Called interviewer and apologized for having to call back. As of interview I felt it went great and left an impression. Here are some of things that were brought up on call.

• Current and past job roles
• Benefits
• What I can bring to the job

I’m now in waiting status to get another interview with hiring manger. Got an email from other company for 2nd interview this Friday at 8am.

Walked cherrypup block when interview was finished.

I’m laying on couch watching nephew play Madden online.

 

It's been fine - nothing special: writing, fielding a few prospect calls (all useless), some banter with the CEO, and fucking off.

Certainly not a bad day at all.

 

Yesterday was fine. We ordered in dinner and watched 28 weeks later.

I’m off today! I’m going to make cookies and package up some jewelry to ship and try to relax.

 

Woke up to some buds on the tree today.

 

I have never thought about quitting my job more than I did today. People absolutely suck.

 

Started out good. Did the normal business in the shower. Coffee then a look on F/B . Found out a good friend had died!!! He will be missed!!

 

It was a long day.

This morning. I had to take “cherrypup” to ER due to stomach issue around 3:30 am. Yesterday she had bad diarrhea plus was panting at mouth that caused her to drool. Found out she had bloating as well. Got prescribed meds and soft dog to help calm stomach. Issue seems to be related in change of dog food (I got money back and will donate). Total cost for Dr visit was over 440 dollars. Dog is doing much better.

As of work it was non stop calls. Had a great conversation with a Canadian customer and was impressed with my social skills.

Walked cherrypup around block when shift ended.

It's been okay, but I don't know what the hell is going on at the office - the last couple of days I've gotten much more than the usual 'overflow' calls, Not a problem, but one put me in the middle between my company and a delinquent client who had been denied service due to non-payment. Don't tell me your sob stories - pay your bills.

Other than that, it's all about my usual happy writing and fucking off.

 

Not bad but definitely could have been better. Got off work by 2pm but don't have anyone to come home to so no naughty time with anyone but myself.

It was good - pretty standard, which is a plus. I did all my usual writing, had no interaction with clients or staff, except for some social media posts I needed to approve, and basically fucked off, which works well for me.

No complaints from me...

 

Fan-fucking-tastic. Re-intake at the VA today... Doctor says 'your a 100%, why haven't we seen you?" I told him about sitting in the emergency room six months after I came back for four hours, alone, with a fever of 103+ and when they did see me, they sent me home. 'Low tolerance of pain' diagnosis. Went to VA here when I moved to give them another chance, and they failed to send my medications after two calls to the pharmacy. Duh! But, it looks like they got it right this time... we'll see. Was treated respectfully... for a 70-year-old guy. Wish they'd have be a little more supportive when I was 22.

 

Yesterday was damn long. My knee hurt worse. My dog was being crazy because of the snow. And that’s about it.

 

It was a busy work from home day.

Had job interview this morning (20 min) and felt it went great. During the interview I bragged about myself. Additionally we talked current and past roles, hobbies and reason for applying. I’m now in a waiting game till end of month.

As of work it was non stop calls 20 till 2 pm. Later on I had appt with company that manages heat and cooling system.

No walk cherrypup as it was cold outside so I drove to bank and picked up dinner.

It's been fine - all the better for being Friday. I had some catch-up to do because of my own laziness, but Monday's blog is done and I wrote about a third of Wednesday's. Had a little interaction with clients, but none with the office. Fucked off maybe... 82% - I think.
